Ordinarily she would prefer to work behind the scenes coaching clients as they prepare for press engagements. But here is Ruth Sterling with Chef Luca Paris just prior to a cable TV appearance announcing the colossal C&S Wholesale Grocers gift of 20,000 pumpkins to the 2013 Keene Pumpkin Festival.

About Founder Ruth (Simpson) Sterling

A graphic designer who majored in art at Bucknell . . .
a writer with a BA in journalism . . .
a marketing pro with an MBA . . . .

These all describe the same person, Ruth Sterling.

Add a few adjectives: creative, cogent, tenacious… sterling.

“We have to live up to our name,” Sterling often says, while working to create business solutions of superior quality and integrity.

My first mission statement was from a farmer’s bumper sticker: “Get small, take it slow, mix it up and care.” Working in a spacious office in a barn attached to a 200-year-old house is an ideal place to “make a living” and a life. I was always home after school for my son and daughter and made them my number one priority until they were off making their own ways in the world. Now, like my idol Eleanor Roosevelt who made her mark after raising her family, I am ready for every challenge. I say, bring it!
